We have a wide range of film cameras perfect for beginners on our store. If you’re unsure if a camera will be suitable, simply check the listing description where it will state if the camera is good for a beginner. You can also filter our cameras by selecting ‘Point & Shoot’ on the store page then selecting ‘Best for beginners’. Any camera that shows in this filter will be one that is very easy to use. If you are still unsure, or if there are too many to choose from, please feel free to get in touch and we can recommend something for you. Our testing process
We take pride in offering our customers a wide selection quality, tested film cameras. Every camera listed on our site has been thoroughly tested with both batteries and film to ensure its full range of functions are working. Our checks include; testing the shutter, winder, film rewind, light meter, aperture, shutter speeds, ISO, focus, self timer and many more functions depending on the camera.
We do occasionally sell cameras with minor faults providing they do not impact the function of the camera too much. Any fault will be clearly stated in the product description or shown in the listing photos.
60-Day Guarantee
All camera purchases are covered by our 60-day return guarantee to allow adequate time for our customers to shoot and develop their first film and make sure they are happy with the results. Our guarantee covers any fault that is not clearly listed in the product description or shown in the listing photos.
Returns
As our cameras are all second hand a level of wear should be expected from general use, please thoroughly inspect the photos & descriptions before making your purchase.
When choosing a camera please keep in mind that older vintage cameras are likely to produce imperfect images. If the vintage look is not for you, or you are unsure of the type of image a certain camera will produce, make sure to contact us prior to purchasing.
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your camera purchase, you have 60-days from delivery to start a return (See our 60-day guarantee). As the buyer you will need to cover the cost of the return and we strongly recommend you use a tracked & insured delivery option.
Refunds will be processed once the product has been returned in the same condition it was sent out in.
Delivery
UK Delivery
Standard delivery usually takes between 2-3 days from dispatch.
If you require a quick delivery on your order please either select ‘Express UK delivery’ at checkout or contact us via email or instagram direct message prior to making your purchase, we will always do our best to accommodate your request.
Express UK Delivery
We do our best to get all orders sent out as quickly as possible (usually within 2-3 working days). Please note when selecting ‘Express UK Delivery’ that our standard dispatch time still applies. Express UK Delivery uses a tracked next day delivery service.
UK Dispatch
We aim to dispatch all UK orders between 1-4 working days from purchase.
International Delivery
Please note that there have been reports of delayed delivery times to some countries outside the UK. Each country has its own customs processes that are beyond our control. Customs fees & import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer, contact your countries customs department if you require any further information.
International Dispatch
We aim to dispatch all international orders between 1-7 working days from purchase.
